An enormous amount of disinformation about bitcoin has been spread in the mainstream media, yet none of the arguments used to date is convincing when analyzed in detail from a rational standpoint. In English the term FUD --- an acronym for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt — is often used to refer to all this self-interested disinformation that exploits fear, uncertainty, and doubt. All these arguments appeal to the emotions, carrying a considerable weight of deception or, at best, half-truths. This second part of the book consists of thirteen chapters, each of which addresses a specific FUD and its refutation.

Since the nature of the disinformation varies greatly, the length of the chapters varies considerably. Some chapters are very short (Ponzi Scheme, States Will Ban It, It Is Not Backed by Anything, CBDCs Will Make It Obsolete) since the refutation is straightforward. There are also two (Energy Waste and Quantum Computers) that are very long, since there is a great deal to consider and the argument is non-trivial.
